The Youth Substance Abuse Service YSAS is a non-profit organisation located in Fitzroy that helps young adults affected by the use of alcohol and other drugs. YSAS’s practice is evidence-based, drawing on extensive practice wisdom and national and international research. YSAS recognises that young people may experience a number of problems simultaneously. Youth alcohol and other drug workers are trained and experienced in dealing with a range of complex problems including alcohol and drugs, legal matters, primary and mental health, homelessness, sexual abuse and family breakdown.
